A big job

Now and again Nufloors are asked to put in a tender for a big job... This week our Nufloors Auckland Floorsanding Team started one of these big jobs so for the first day it was all hands on deck and on site so to speak.  600m2 not our biggest job yet worthy of a good blog nethertheless... 

Some might ask if it is a school hall or recreational centre or perhaps a town hall?  Although the Nufloors Auckland and Hamilton Floor Sanding team have completed many halls and recreational centres this job was unique.  The building was huge and the area we worked on was only a small part of it.  This job was for Baurepairs and their new South Auckland head office.  We counter sunk and drilled all the protruding screws then filled every hole with fawn floor filler. (There was alot of filler used) It was then time for floor sanding and we completed our fine sand before coating with PB40 which is a solvent based polyurethane.  We were all unsure what the area was designed for as it was on the second floor and adjoing the office spaces, perhaps an open plan office area, perhaps a training room.. who knows?  What I do know is that the Nufloors Auckland Floorsanding team completed another great job.  Good Work Team!
