Timber Flooring Installations in Auckland and Hamilton

Recently Nufloors - a wooden floor company has been installing hardwood flooring in houses in Auckland and Hamilton. Two of these jobs are for a builder which Nufloors has had a long relationship. The first of these timber floors was at the suburb of Mt Roskill. This solid Hardwood Timber flooring was laid with Kwila overlay timber flooring.

As part of a renovation, it was important to not raise the level of the floor, so the slim profile timber flooring was chosen. The upstairs three bedrooms plus hall have now gone from old carpet to beautiful polished wooden floor boards.

The second wooden flooring job was in Ramarama. This job is in a new house under construction. This hardwood timber floor was laid with 130mm x 19mm American Oak solid timber flooring. A very dense and hard timber floor which is commonly used. This floor was laid over Concrete which was diamond grinded and the moisture barrier applied. In a Few weeks, we will return to this floor and sand and polish all of the timber flooring together with the internal stairs.

Nufloors was also fitting just hardwood floors in a house in Hamilton, Again American Oak was chosen, rustic grade, we did the floor preparation and installed the new floorboards, two weeks later we returned to epoxy the holes, our floor sanding and finishing skills we put to the test, filling and fine sanding the floor, the customer chose non-yellowing solvent-base polyurethane.

Whilst in Hamilton our timber flooring installation contractor was also fitting solid hardwood flooring into the old farm shed, this was to be the Boys Man cave, Hopefully we are invited to a shield challenge, and spend some time in this cave. there photos are rom another house we did in kwila , my favorite flooring
