Timber Species - existing Matai Timber flooring and recycled timber flooring
Scope of work - Install matai flooring, rough sand, Spot fill and fine sand
Finish - 3 coats of Solvent based finish low sheen
West End Rd, Westmere - Matai wood Flooring This job was like no other in many ways. Nufloors supplied and laid second-hand timber into this house. Our contract layer spent several days sorting and laying the timber to get the best results for the floor. With a lot of help from the owner our guy got this timber flooring all laid and looking good.

With that part of the job completed it was our turn. For this job we sent in Gareth and his team mate to work their magic. With day one complete and the rough floor sanding finished it meant that
the next day saw a fine sand completed and the floor trowel filled and left to dry overnight.
The next day had our team fine sanding the floor and putting two coats of solvent based polyurethane on. The next day had them come back to put the last coat on the wooden floor after they
gave it a light sand and vacuum.

So the wood floor was sanded trowel filled then three coats of solvent based polyurethane put on the floor. The last coat was a low sheen finish from Handley Industry's. all done on time by our timber floor installers and our auckland floor sanders in west Auckland.
