Scope of work - rough sand, fill then fine sand
Finish - 3 coats of water based finish low sheen

Rickards Pl, New Lynn - West Auckland is your typical do-up and sell or do up and hold property. Nufloors was asked to quote on the tawa timber floors.. we supplied a written quote which was accepted.. and a time frame was organized around the other trades which were onsite.

Our van two operator, Gareth was sent in to do the floor sanding job. day one saw no real problems and by the days end the wooden floor was rough sanded punched filled and the medium sand completed.
Day two, Gareth the floor sander was back. He completed the fine sanding and used the floor polisher to complete the sanding up to 120 grit.. after a good vacuum the first two coats of solvent based polyurethane was applied. Day two complete home through the traffic.
Day three and I was onsite with Gareth for the final coat.. firstly we used the floor polisher with 150 grit to smooth out the main part of the tawa timber flooring. Next we orbited around the edges with 129 grit.. finally another good vacuum then on with the final coat of low sheen. Note as we take the photos as we are working the floor looks gloss but trust me it will dry to a low sheen finish. Job complete. Invoice sent.. home for a well-earned cold drink
