Yes ... there is matai timber flooring somewhere beneath this carpet underlay.. our floor sander arrived on site... and said no worries.. yes we can fix it... follow our floor sanders as they strip off the underlay and revel this Matai wood floor.

As you can see from the photos we arrived on site to the usual chaos .. we had to clean up the job site and even evict the neighbors dog. Move the old kitchen bench and repair the floor between the lounge and the dining... all in a days work or two.. for our floor sanders.
