The Knoll- Ameican walnut flooring

The Knoll. Part one. - Now I wanted to write about this floor to half. The timber was sourced and supplied by Nufloors. We also laid the timber hardwood flooring as well. Now as will tell from the pictures that no polyurethane is on the floor and you might be wondering what sort of timber species it is. I will answer both those questions for you later.

The week of 2nd Yes back into the grind, well not quite we were off out to Buckland, Pukekohe to uplift 3 bedrooms of smelly carpet, well soiled by cats, once the carpet was in the trailer we discovered patches in the wooden flooring that need some attention.

The week of the 2nd saw the floor sanders on three jobs in Auckland, with Hugh our head floor sander on holiday we were reduced to a team of 3, on to a split job in st Heliers, the rimu timber flooring was restored and a high-quality water based finished was applied, job two we were off to Pakuranga for 60 meters of wooden flooring to be resurfaced, Again finished in water based, then off to reglaze Matai Flooring in a community hall in Buckland's beach,

June work completed by our floor sander Auckland Team. as we are now starting these monthly blogs we will start here, Currently we are on a hardwood flooring job in the north shore of Auckland, the customer wanted just hardwood floors throughout his two-story house, including his staircase, we were called up to view this solid timber flooring as his chippie was installing wooden floors by himself, we were asked to do a light white wash or blonding as we call it, the pictures in the gallery will show you the process, our wooden flooring company as chosen to complete the hardwood flooring job. After many samples wre done he chose a very light grey blonding system

The week of the 5th saw the floor sanders on two jobs in Auckland, the main floor sanders were still on the solid hardwood flooring at Papakura community hall, finally the were onto the medium cuts as there was 12 coats of poly that had to be removed, slow hard process, but they got there, the other floor sanding team was onto 90 meters of cork tile refurbishment. Actually I got roped into this job, back on the floor again.
